Fluffy American pancakes with beta-glucan

Soft, fluffy, and easy to make. Fibr Beta Glucan gives the pancakes a lovely consistency while also providing beta glucan from oats.

A delicious way to start the day in a slightly more luxurious way.

RECIPE FOR 1-2 SERVINGS

3 tbsp Fibr Beta Glucan
0.75 dl gluten-free flour, e.g., sorghum flour or oat flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 dl milk
1 egg
1 tsp oil of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix milk, egg, and oil in a bowl.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl.

  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients.

  4. Let stand for 5-10 min.

  5. Heat a frying pan, then reduce to medium heat. Grease with oil and spread into small pancakes using two spoons. The batter will be sticky!

  6. Fry until golden on each side and serve with your favorite topping, e.g., fresh berries and maple syrup.
