Baking scones is something my partner and I often do on a free Saturday morning. There's something comforting about the smell of freshly baked scones combined with the feeling of the weekend. For me, baking becomes a ritual rather than just baking – it's the atmosphere around it that makes it a little more delightful, comforting, and cozy.
In this post, I invite you to bake scones with me, from my perspective as a content creator and photographer – and how I use Fibr in both the kitchen and my creative work. Fibr-scones are super easy to make. With just the flour mix and buttermilk or yogurt, your weekend scones will be ready in about 20 minutes! And of course – gluten-free.
PREPARATIONS
First, let's make sure the lighting, props, and ingredients are in place:

Flavoring is completely optional: orange zest, cardamom, or a little cinnamon can be nice. Or nothing at all. A matter of taste!
RECIPE FOR 4 SCONES
225 g (1 bag) Fibr Scone Mix
2.25 dl buttermilk or yogurt
Optional: Mix in 0.5 g saffron, 1 tsp crushed cardamom, 1 tsp cinnamon, or the grated zest of half an orange.
INSTRUCTIONS
-
Pour the flour mix and add buttermilk/yogurt.
-
Mix thoroughly and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
-
Shape into a round flat cake on a baking sheet, about 3 cm high.
-
Cut a cross over the cake to make four pieces.
-
Bake at 230°C in a convection oven or 250°C in an top and bottom heat oven for about 10 minutes until the scones are golden.
-
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
I love a classic combination of cheese and marmalade on my scones, so that's what I chose. This time, however, I ate my scones with tomato soup, and I must say it was 10/10.

Step-by-step baking Fibr scones, it couldn't be easier!
SERVE AND ENJOY!
Here you will find all Fibr's gluten-free and additive-free baking mixes.
That's all for this time. We hope you feel inspired to bake scones with Fibr. Have a wonderful day!
